About Michael McMahon

Moving Mountain Institute Founder and Teacher

Michael McMahon, LAc, LMT

Michael is the founder of Moving Mountain Institute. He teaches workshops and courses through the Institute, and also has developed novel curriculum as adjunct faculty at the National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM). He was recently recognized with an institution-wide award for Innovation & Excellence in Teaching. A hallmark of Michael's practice is his ongoing commitment to education. He has pursued expertise in his field since he began practicing massage therapy in 2000. Michael has been fortunate to study and train with many leaders in the bodywork field. He is happy to share what he has learned from integrating Chinese medicine with his over 18 years of experience in Craniosacral Therapy, Myofascial Release, Visceral Manipulation, Manual Articular Joint Approaches and Active Isolated Stretching techniques.
